The Dundas Blues' Chris Cudek had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing three assists in his team's 8-4 win over the Port Dover Sailors. Cudek's tallies came at 12:32 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Dundas and 1:27 into the third to make the score 7-1 Dundas.Dundas forced Sailors' goaltenders to work without much rest, launching 49 shots and forcing 41 saves. Rene Kloepfer made 36 stops and Riley Edwards made five. The Blues excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Dundas' goal total was higher than its season average. This season, the Blues average 4.4 goals per contest. Dundas additionally got points from Ray Thompson, who also registered three goals and two assists and Mitch Moriarity, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Port Dover was helped by Eric O`Keefe, who tallied one goal. O`Keefe scored 9:11 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Dundas. Eric Mueller assisted on the tally. Port Dover also got points from Mueller, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Port Dover included Michael Almas and Colin Montour, who scored one goal each. In addition, Port Dover received assists from Steve Goeree, who had one. Colin Bilik made 38 saves for Dundas on 42 shots. The Blues incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. For Dundas, Bryce Robertson was ejected from the game. The Sailors incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
