The Simcoe Storm had trouble finding ways to stop the Grimsby Peach Kings, which beat Storm, 7-3.

Jeromy Hopkins had two goals to lead Grimsby to victory. Hopkins' tallies came on the power play at 7:58 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and 19:49 into the first to make the score 4-1 Grimsby.
