The Glanbrook Rangers, who led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by the Grimsby Peach Kings and clinched a 3-2 victory.

Glanbrook led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Rangers' Cole Anderson scored at 9:47 in the second period to put Glanbrook up 3-0.

The Rangers' penalty kill excelled, as Glanbrook gave up one goal despite allowing seven power plays.

The Rangers forced Grimsby goalie Jeremy Currie to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

Glanbrook was led by Brett Farrelly, who racked up one goal and one assist. Farrelly scored 9:16 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Glanbrook. Connor Maitz picked up the assist. Ryan Laufman also scored for Glanbrook. In addition, Glanbrook received assists from Brandon Kolaski, Brad Parish, and Curtis Zahorodni, who each chipped in one.
