Bilik leads Dundas to shutout victory over Simcoe

The Dundas Blues used a sparkling performance by Colin Bilik to take down the Simcoe Storm, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Dundas' 3-0 shutout victory.

The Blues' penalty kill excelled, as Dundas gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

The Blues were paced by Mitch Moriarity, who registered one goal. Moriarity scored short handed 8:37 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Dundas. Dundas found itself down a man on Thomas Dowling's interference. Dan Pelosini picked up the assist.

The Blues stifled Simcoe's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Dundas' defense was surprisingly good. The Blues average 3.0 goals allowed per game. Dundas' offense rang up 53 shots on the Storm's net.

Dundas also got points from Ray Thompson, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Dundas also got a goal from Liam Buckley as well. In addition, Dundas received assists from Domenic Procopio, who had one.

Simcoe struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 34 penalty minutes for eight opposing power plays.

Bilik recorded 27 saves for the Blues. Dundas incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Nathen McKinnon made 50 saves for the Storm on 53 shots.
