The Dundas Blues, who led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by the Dunnville Jr. Mudcats and clinched a 5-3 victory. Dundas led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Blues' Domenic Procopio scored at 14:46 in the second period to put Dundas up 4-1. Procopio was all over the ice for the Blues, as he registered two goals in the win. Dundas struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 36 penalty minutes for eight opposing power plays. Dundas also got points from Chris Cudek, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Dundas also had goals scored by Ray Thompson and Liam Buckley, who each put in one. In addition, Dundas received assists from Jaden Simoneau, who had two and Jamison Buck, Dan Pelosini, Thomas Dowling, Mitch Hall, and Clay Donnelly, who contributed one each. Dunnville was led by Damien Lalonde, who racked up one goal and one assist. Lalonde scored 14:10 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Dundas. Darcy Muller assisted on the tally. Others who scored for Dunnville included Josh Meeuwse and Jake MacDougall, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Dunnville were Aaron Krajcir, who had one. Colin Bilik rejected 27 shots on goal for the Blues. Dundas registered one goal on six power play opportunities. Jackson Roberts made 23 saves for the Jr. Mudcats on 27 shots. Dunnville incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
