The Dundas Blues survived a determined comeback attempt by the Glanbrook Rangers on the way to a 4-3 win. Dundas made the score 4-0 on a goal by Liam Hadall at 16:28 in the first period, and Glanbrook got as close as 4-3 when Chris Haigh scored 4:18 into the third period. The Blues forced the Rangers' goalies to work between the pipes, firing 39 shots and forcing 35 saves. Jay Payton made 27 stops and Matthew Venturelli made eight. Dundas was led by Dan Pelosini, who had three goals. Other players who recorded assists for Dundas were Jamison Buck, Cam Docherty, Justin Homer, Clay Donnelly, and Cam McConnell, who each chipped in one. Glanbrook put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Blues to score on any of their five power plays. The Rangers' offense rang up 39 shots on Dundas' net. Glanbrook was helped by Brett Farrelly, who registered one goal. Farrelly scored on the power play 16:03 into the third period to make the score 4-4. The Rangers earned a power play opportunity when Phoenix Schueler was put in the box for high sticking. Ryan Laufman picked up the assist. Glanbrook also had goals scored by Garnet Batrynchuk and Nicholas Sherwood, who scored one goal each. In addition, Glanbrook received assists from Josh Anger, who had two. Andrew Albano rejected 36 shots on goal for the Blues. Dundas incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Glanbrook incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
