M1 Liberty University boosted by Halpenny's play in net, beats M1 Buffalo ^ University at 3-1

Joshua Halpenny had a standout game with 28 saves, and the M1 Liberty University Flames beat the M1 Buffalo ^ University at Bulls 3-1.

M1 Liberty University was led by Owen Harris, who grabbed one goal. Harris scored 2:46 into the second period to make the score 2-0 M1 Liberty University. Michael Bunn provided the assist.

The Flames put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M1 Buffalo ^ University at to score on any of its three power plays.

M1 Liberty University also had goals scored by Chase Harris and Grant Garvin, who each put in one. More assists for M1 Liberty University came via Ben Hughes and Zane Schartz, who each chipped in one.

The Bulls did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. M1 Buffalo ^ University at puts an average of 4.1 pucks into the net per game.

The Bulls were led by Sean Dungan, who scored the team's only goal. Dungan scored 12:00 into the third period to make the score 2-1 M1 Liberty University. Cole Schiffman assisted on the tally.

M1 Liberty University totaled 23 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play. For the Flames, Peter Shantz was ejected from the game. Dylan Arnold made 24 saves for M1 Buffalo ^ University at on 26 shots. The Bulls incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
