M1 Buffalo ^ University at vanquishes M1 Michigan-Dearborn ^University of in shootout, 4-3 (3-2 SO)

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the M1 Buffalo ^ University at Bulls defeated the M1 Michigan-Dearborn ^University of Wolverines in a shootout 4-3 (3-2 SO).

The shootout lasted for 12 attempts between the teams. M1 Michigan-Dearborn ^University of's shootout goals were scored by Marcus Mcsweeney and Ryan Urso. In addition to the clincher, M1 Buffalo ^ University at got shootout goals from Eric Nestler and Nicolas Angelo.
