Wisely's big game bests Cincinnati in 4-1 Peoria win

Peoria's Austin Wisely had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 4-1 win over Cincinnati.

Wisely's tallies came at 40 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-0 Peoria and 14:03 into the second to make the score 3-1 Peoria.

Peoria's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Cincinnati power plays.

Others who scored for Peoria included Dane Federighi and Mitchell Macek, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Peoria were Joe Power Wayvon, Levi Armstrong, Chance Homerin, Andrej Buchko, and Braden Stewart, who contributed one each.

Cincinnati was led by Brenden Williams, who scored the team's only goal. Williams scored 12:46 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Peoria. Grant Kiepper picked up the assist.

Ross Lipic made 17 saves for Peoria on 18 shots. Peoria incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Daniel Dolliver rejected 26 shots on goal for Cincinnati. Cincinnati incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
