Sugar Land's Alex Norwinski had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 4-1 win over Euless.

Norwinski found the back of the net 5:53 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Sugar Land and again while 12:51 into the first to make the score 2-0 Sugar Land.

Sugar Land excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Others who scored for Sugar Land included Trevor Wolf and Luca Valenza, who each put in one. More assists for Sugar Land came via Matt Cozzan, who had two and RC Randall, Matt DeNure, Jonathan Adnell, and Frank Muscarella, who contributed one each.

Euless was led by Ian Linna, who scored the team's only goal. Linna scored 8:25 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Sugar Land. Nick Snyder assisted on the tally.

Kevin Mackey recorded 16 saves for Sugar Land. Sugar Land incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Euless' starting goalie, Thomas Bailey, made 20 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Everett Yasinski, who stopped four shots. Euless incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
