Texas had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-0 win over Euless.

Texas was paced by Bryan Whelan, who grabbed one goal. Whelan scored 3:50 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Texas. Matt Araujo provided the assist.

Texas forced Euless' goalies to work all game long, launching 45 shots and forcing 40 saves. Thomas Bailey made 31 stops and Mike Severson made nine. Texas stifled Euless' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Texas also got points from Victor Ekk, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Texas also got a goal from Ryan Dunner as well. More assists for Texas came via Brock Brown and Kyle Galloway, who each chipped in one and Niklas McCallum and Mykyta Sheptytsky, who contributed two each.

Tyler Myers rejected 20 shots on goal for Texas. Texas incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Euless incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
