Glacier tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Billings would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3. A goal by Edward Hoppmann put Billings up 4-2 in the third period, but Glacier pulled to within one on Tyler McMahon's tally 19:36 into the third period. Billings was led by Hoppmann, who had one goal. Hoppmann scored 18:03 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Billings. Mason Graves provided the assist. Billings' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Glacier power plays. Billings forced Glacier goalie Mikhail Pahrebets to work between the pipes, taking 42 shots. Others who scored for Billings included Keith Gustin, Connor Melton, and Cameron Birklid, who each put in one. In addition, Billings received assists from Zach Heiser, Chad Stucker, Collin Tripp, and Tristan Henrichs, who each chipped in one. Billings was unable to stop Glacier from sending pucks towards the net, and Glacier eventually piled up 36 shots on goal. Collin Schieman also scored for Glacier. Billings' Brandon Brown stopped 33 shots out of the 36 that he faced. Billings incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Pahrebets rejected 38 shots on goal for Glacier.
