Wadden leads Iowa Wild (MM) over LA Jr. Kings (MM), 6-3

Kyle Wadden was all over the ice for Iowa Wild (MM), as he tallied two goals and one assist in Iowa Wild (MM)'s 6-3 win over LA Jr. Kings (MM).

Wadden's tallies came short handed at 8:41 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Iowa Wild (MM) and on the power play 13:29 into the first to make the score 4-1 Iowa Wild (MM).

LA Jr. Kings (MM) fell victim to a deadly Iowa Wild (MM) power play, which ripped LA Jr. Kings (MM) for five goals.

Iowa Wild (MM) got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Iowa Wild (MM) struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 16 penalty minutes for seven opposing power plays.

Iowa Wild (MM) additionally got points from Cedric Bichsel, who also registered one goal and one assist and Chris Hysack, who also racked up one goal and two assists. Others who scored for Iowa Wild (MM) included Scott Bagby and Jamison Westaby, who each put in one. In addition, Iowa Wild (MM) received assists from Jordan Levens, who had one and Miro Sistonen, who had three.

LA Jr. Kings (MM) could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 22 minutes in penalties during the game.

LA Jr. Kings (MM) was helped by Jett Shibata, who grabbed one goal. Shibata scored on the power play 16:21 into the first period to make the score 4-3 Iowa Wild (MM). LA Jr. Kings (MM) had gotten the advantage when Iowa Wild (MM)'s Hysack was sent off for elbowing. Austin Bowkus assisted on the tally. LA Jr. Kings (MM) also got points from Bowkus, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Wyatt Light also scored for LA Jr. Kings (MM). Other players who recorded assists for LA Jr. Kings (MM) were Sean Cullinane, who had two and Jared Christy, Austin Koss, and Auston Ghirardelli, who each chipped in one.

Lucas Van Dyke made 20 saves for Iowa Wild (MM) on 23 shots. Robert Jacobson took the loss and made 12 saves before being replaced by Mitchell Walsh who made 12 saves.
