 Huge game by Molinaro boosts Amarillo over Odessa, 6-3Amarillo    Sat, Sep 12, 2015 Story by Narrative Science. The Amarillo Bulls' Joey Molinaro had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 6-3 win over the Odessa Jackalopes.Molinaro scored at 4:13 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Amarillo and again while on the power play 1:35 into the third to make the score 5-3 Amarillo. Amarillo forced Odessa's netminders to work without much rest, totaling 31 shots and forcing 25 saves. Dean Shatzer made 12 stops and Joe Morgan made 13. The Bulls cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring three goals on five chances. Amarillo additionally got points from Johan Lundgren, who also had one goal and two assists and George Mika, who also registered one goal and two assists. Amarillo also had goals scored by Zach Sarnowski and Tyler Harkins, who each put in one. In addition, Amarillo received assists from Tyler Hall, Grant Morford, Phil Fromberger, Joey DiBenedetto, Trent Dillinger, and Brendan Murphy, who contributed one each. Amarillo was unable to stop the Jackalopes from sending pucks towards the net, and Odessa eventually piled up 41 shots on goal. The Jackalopes were helped by Zach Main, who finished with one goal. Main scored on the power play 16:11 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Amarillo. Daniel Kiraly assisted on the tally. Odessa also got points from Ryan MacKellar, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Gray Marr also scored for Odessa. Other players who recorded assists for Odessa were Brandon Tucker, who had one and Derek Brown, who had two. The Bulls' Anton Martinsson stopped 38 shots out of the 41 that he faced. Amarillo ended with 36 minutes in penalty time with three minors and two majors. The Bulls ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Nicholas Santoro was ejected from the game. Odessa totaled 38 minutes in penalty time with four minors and two majors and went 1-for-4 on the power play.
