Frost's hat trick boosts Omaha AAA 16U over HC Dallas 16U, 7-0

Kendrick Frost lifted Omaha AAA 16U to a 7-0 victory with a hat trick against HC Dallas 16U.

Frost's first goal came 5:56 into the second period. He then added goals at 6:15 into the second and at 16:14 into the third.

Omaha AAA 16U's penalty kill excelled, as Omaha AAA 16U gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Omaha AAA 16U stifled HC Dallas 16U's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. HC Dallas 16U was unable to stop Omaha AAA 16U from sending pucks towards the net, and Omaha AAA 16U eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. Omaha AAA 16U bested its season scoring average. Omaha AAA 16U averages 4.3 goals per game. The defensemen of Omaha AAA 16U were also effective in HC Dallas 16U's zone, and came away with five goals.

Omaha AAA 16U also got points from Garrett Anderson, who also registered two goals and one assist, Gabe Wahl, who also finished with one goal and two assists, and Austin Nault, who also racked up one goal and four assists. In addition, Omaha AAA 16U received assists from Nicholas Doyle, who had two and Jackson Decker and Coltan Wilkie, who each chipped in one.

Penalties took their toll on HC Dallas 16U, as its penalty kill unit let in three power play goals.

Omaha AAA 16U's Todd Scott stopped 17 shots out of the 17 that he faced. Omaha AAA 16U incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. Bryce Murphy rejected 26 shots on goal for HC Dallas 16U. HC Dallas 16U ended with 23 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major.
