Ashbrook nets hat trick, leads Omaha AAA 18U to 7-1 win over Esmark Stars 18U

Tristan Ashbrook netted a hat trick to lead Omaha AAA 18U over Esmark Stars 18U, 7-1.

Ashbrook's first goal came 8:51 into the first period. He then added goals at 13:03 into the second and at 9:54 into the third.

Omaha AAA 18U was led by goalie Cole Weaver, who finished with 31 saves while allowing one goal. Weaver certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.6 entering the contest.

Esmark Stars 18U was unable to stop Omaha AAA 18U from sending pucks towards the net, and Omaha AAA 18U eventually piled up 49 shots on goal. Omaha AAA 18U struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 24 penalty minutes for six opposing power plays.

Omaha AAA 18U additionally got points from Dane Johnson, who also registered one goal and three assists and Jaden Anderson, who also finished with one goal and three assists.
