Huge game by Ouellette boosts Les Canadiennes over Calgary Inferno, 5-2

Caroline Ouellette had two goals and one assist to lead Les Canadiennes to a 5-2 victory over Calgary Inferno.

Ouellette's tallies came on the power play at 14:27 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Les Canadiennes and 2:31 into the third to make the score 3-1 Les Canadiennes.

Les Canadiennes stifled Calgary Inferno's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Les Canadiennes forced Calgary Inferno goalie Delayne Brian to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

Les Canadiennes also got points from Noemie Marin, who also had one goal and one assist. Marie-Philip Poulin also scored for Les Canadiennes. More assists for Les Canadiennes came via Kim Deschenes and Katia Clement-Heydra, who each chipped in one and Lauriane Rougeau and Ann-Sophie Bettez, who contributed two each.

Calgary Inferno could not produce up to its normal offensive output. Calgary Inferno averages 4.3 goals per game.

Calgary Inferno was helped by Louise Warren, who finished with one goal. Warren scored 14:03 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Les Canadiennes. Elana Lovell provided the assist.
