Poulin, Bettez lead Les Canadiennes over Toronto Furies, 6-3

Behind one goal from Marie-Philip Poulin and three goals Ann-Sophie Bettez, Les Canadiennes downed Toronto Furies 6-3.

Poulin scored on the power play 11:47 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Les Canadiennes had gotten the advantage when Toronto Furies' Carolyne Prevost was sent off for holding. Caroline Ouellette assisted on the tally.

Les Canadiennes excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Les Canadiennes' offense rang up 54 shots on Toronto Furies' net.

Others who scored for Les Canadiennes included Jordanna Peroff and Karell Emard, who each put in one. In addition, Les Canadiennes received assists from Cathy Chartrand, who had two and Kim Deschenes, Noemie Marin, Chelsey Saunders, and Emmanuelle Blais, who contributed one each.
