Les Canadiennes survived a determined comeback attempt by Toronto Furies on the way to a 3-1 win.

A goal by Caroline Ouellette put Les Canadiennes up 3-0 in the third period, but Toronto Furies pulled to within two on Carolyne Prevost's tally 19:19 into the third period.

Les Canadiennes got the win thanks to a great game by Marie-Philip Poulin, who had one goal and two assists. Poulin scored 1:58 into the third period to make the score 2-0 Les Canadiennes.

Les Canadiennes forced Toronto Furies goalie Christina Kessler to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

Les Canadiennes also got points from Ann-Sophie Bettez, who also tallied one goal and one assist. More assists for Les Canadiennes came via Julie Chu, who had one.
