Brampton Thunder blows out Boston Blades, 9-1

Brampton Thunder had a five-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 9-1 win over Boston Blades.

Brampton Thunder was sparked by Kristen Richards, who tallied one goal and one assist. Richards scored 15:39 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Brampton Thunder. Laura Fortino assisted on the tally.

Brampton Thunder kept Boston Blades' goalie busy throughout the game, and Genevieve Lacasse made 28 saves on 37 shots. Brampton Thunder surpassed its usual scoring output this season.
