Delayne Brian was superb between the pipes for Calgary Inferno, as she did not allow a goal in a 3-0 victory over Toronto Furies. Toronto Furies' power play was ineffective against Calgary Inferno's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. Calgary Inferno was led by Jill Saulnier, who finished with one goal. Saulnier scored on the power play 5:01 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Calgary Inferno. Calgary Inferno had taken the advantage when Toronto Furies' Michelle Bonello got sent off for body checking. Brittany Esposito assisted on the tally. Calgary Inferno put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Toronto Furies to score on any of its seven power plays. Calgary Inferno also had goals scored by Jessica Campbell and Blayre Turnbull, who each put in one. In addition, Calgary Inferno received assists from Bailey Bram, Brianne Jenner, Hayleigh Cudmore, and Louise Warren, who contributed one each. Toronto Furies could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 18 minutes in penalties during the game. Brian rejected 25 shots on goal for Calgary Inferno. Calgary Inferno incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Christina Kessler made 24 saves for Toronto Furies on 27 shots.
