Calgary Inferno survived a determined comeback attempt by Boston Blades on the way to a 4-2 win. Calgary Inferno made the score 4-1 on a goal by Elana Lovell at 15:10 in the second period, and Boston Blades got as close as 4-2 when Kristina Brown scored 25 seconds into the third period. Brittany Esposito had one goal and two assists to lead Calgary Inferno. Esposito scored 8:04 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Calgary Inferno. Brianne Jenner picked up the assist. Calgary Inferno's offense rang up 50 shots on Boston Blades' net. Calgary Inferno additionally got points from Lovell, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Jenner, who also registered one goal and one assist. Calgary Inferno also got a goal from Hayley Wickenheiser as well. Boston Blades' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Calgary Inferno power plays.
