Ohio Blue Jackets (mm) tried to dig itself out of a five-goal hole, but St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) held on for a 5-3 victory.

St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) took a 5-0 lead during the second period, only to have Ohio Blue Jackets (mm) storm back on a Ryan Higgins goal 12:58 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 20 penalty minutes.

St. Louis AAA Blues (mm)'s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Ohio Blue Jackets (mm) power plays. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.
