Lockport beats East Coast 6-1 as Vecchio gets hat trick

East Coast could not stop Lockport's Frank II Vecchio, who tallied a hat trick in a 6-1 win.

Vecchio got on the scoresheet 3:51 into the third period. He then added goals at 7:51 into the third and at 10:31 into the third.

Lockport was led by goalie Sal Stalteri, who finished with 26 saves while allowing one goal. Stalteri certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.86 entering the contest.

Lockport stifled East Coast's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Lockport's offense rang up 69 shots on East Coast's net.

Lockport also got points from Dylan Jenkins, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Lockport included Justin Andriaccio and Christopher Gasiewicz, who each put in one. In addition, Lockport received assists from Kurt Villani, who had one, Ryan Logar, who had three, and Peter Guido and Jordan Pocobello, who each chipped in two.

East Coast's penalty kill was ineffective, and let in two goals to Lockport's power play unit.

East Coast was led by Tristan Archambault, who scored the team's only goal. Archambault scored 18:36 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Lockport. Matt Moreschi provided the assist.

Lockport incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. East Coast's Aidan Critchlow stopped 63 shots out of the 69 that he faced. East Coast incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
