Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) rolls over Thunder AAA Hockey, 4-1

Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-1 win over Thunder AAA Hockey.

Thunder AAA Hockey was stymied by Ohio Blue Jackets (MM)'s netminder Austin Park, who stopped 29 shots during the victory. The solid play of Park will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 1.89.

Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 20 penalty minutes.

Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Thunder AAA Hockey to score on any of its six power plays. Ohio Blue Jackets (MM)'s offense rang up 38 shots on Thunder AAA Hockey's net.

Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) was helped by Justin Richards, who had one goal. Richards scored 4:07 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Ohio Blue Jackets (MM). Charlie Kiefer assisted on the tally.
