Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Milwaukee Jr. Admirals (mm) defeated LA Jr. Kings (mm) in a shootout 4-3 (1-0 SO).

The shootout featured 10 attempts between both teams.

Milwaukee Jr. Admirals (mm) was led by Michael Gebhardt, who had one goal. Gebhardt scored on the power play 4:33 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Milwaukee Jr. Admirals (mm). Milwaukee Jr. Admirals (mm) had gained a power play chance when Ryley Nahra was whistled for interference. Andrew Gebhardt assisted on the tally.
