North Jersey Avalanche (mm) vanquishes Victory Honda (mm) in shootout, 2-1 (2-1 SO)

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as North Jersey Avalanche (mm) defeated Victory Honda (mm) in a shootout 2-1 (2-1 SO).

The two teams needed five turns to complete the shootout. Victory Honda (mm)'s shootout goal was scored by Chase Danol. In addition to the clincher, North Jersey Avalanche (mm) got a shootout goal from Nick Abruzzese.

North Jersey Avalanche (mm)'s Justin Robbins was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 34 saves and let only one puck past him. Robbins certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.74 entering the contest.

North Jersey Avalanche (mm) managed to stay out of the box for the most part, racking up one minor for 12 minutes in penalty time.
