Pembroke rides Diclemente to victory over Smiths Falls, 3-1

Pembroke were sparked by Jerim Ryan, who grabbed one goal. Ryan scored in the second period to make the score 2-1 Pembroke. Ben VanOoteghem and Luka Marinic registered the assists on the goal.

Lumber Kings put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Smiths Falls to score on any of their five power plays.Pembroke kept Bears's goalie busy throughout the game, and Evan DeBrouwer made 28 saves on 31 shots.

Pembroke also had goals scored by Brett Horn and Patrick Kyte, who each put in one. In addition, Pembroke received assists from Cale List , VanOoteghem, Tyler ONeill, and Marinic, who each chipped in one.

Smiths Falls could not produce their normal offensive output. Bears averages 3.5 goals per game.

Smiths Falls were led by Nicolas Coates, who scored the team's only goal. Coates scored short handed in the first period to make the score 1-0 Smiths Falls. Corey Caruso claimed the first assist on the goal, and Jared Henry got the second.

Lumber Kings incurred ten minutes in penalty time with five minors. Bears incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
