The Nepean Raiders tried their best to erase a three-goal deficit, but the Kemptville 73s would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3. A goal by Victor Tracy put Kemptville up 3-0 in the second period, but Nepean pulled to within one on Noah Kalsner-Lowe's tally 2:25 into the third period. Jake Gaudet was all over the ice for the 73s, as he tallied two goals and two assists in the win. Gaudet scored the first of his two goals at 30 seconds into the second period to make the score 2-0 Kemptville. Bobby Dow picked up the assist. Gaudet's next tally made the score 4-3 Kemptville with seven seconds left in the third period. Alex Row assisted on the tally. Kemptville's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Nepean power plays. The 73s' offense rang up 47 shots on the Raiders' net. Kemptville also got points from Row, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Kemptville were Jack Hale, Cameron Russell, and Brandon Cole, who each chipped in one. Nepean also had goals scored by Kari Belec and Rory Garlasco, who each put in one. More assists for Nepean came via Justin Schebel, Corey Tam, Josh Zizek, Mike Finger, and Justin Hess, who contributed one each. Kemptville's Peter Brooks stopped 23 shots out of the 26 that he faced. The 73s incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Francis Marotte rejected 43 shots on goal for Nepean. The Raiders incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
