Tre Folkes tallied two points to lead the Brockville Braves to a 5-1 victory over the Kanata Lasers. Brockville forced Kanata goalie Alex Butler to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots. Brockville additionally got points from Ian Johnston, who also had one goal and two assists and Neil Robinson, who also racked up one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Brockville included Chris Chaddock and Cameron Crotty, who scored one goal each. In addition, Brockville received assists from Stuart Fierheller, who had two and Vincenzo Renda, Andrew Jarvis, and Sam Jones, who contributed one each. The Lasers were led by Yannick Martel, who scored the team's only goal. Martel scored on the power play 28 seconds into the third period to make the score 3-1 Brockville. Tyler Young provided the assist. Henry Johnson rejected 19 shots on goal for the Braves. Brockville totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play. The Braves ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Michael Murray was ejected from the game. Kanata's Butler stopped 27 shots out of the 32 that he faced. The Lasers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
