In a game where neither team could get a cushion, LA Jr. Kings (MM) escaped with a 3-2 victory over Thunder AAA Hockey. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Austin Koss secured the win for LA Jr. Kings (MM) with a goal in the third period. LA Jr. Kings (MM) was paced by Koss, who finished with one goal. Koss scored 8:39 into the third period to make the score 3-2 LA Jr. Kings (MM). Connor Nobach picked up the assist.
