The Kemptville 73s used a sparkling performance by Nicholas Hodgins to take down the Ottawa Senators, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Kemptville's 3-0 shutout victory. The 73s were led by Adam Alavi, who finished with one goal. Alavi scored 17:28 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kemptville. Dean Kiriacou provided the assist. Kemptville excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Kemptville also got points from Kiriacou, who also grabbed one goal and one assist.
