The Kemptville 73s pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the Kanata Lasers on a clutch goal by Jake Gaudet.

Gaudet had two goals to lead Kemptville to victory. Gaudet found the back of the net on the power play 11:13 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kemptville and again while 1:24 into the fourth to make the score 3-2 Kemptville.

The 73s' offense rang up 37 shots on Kanata's net.

Cameron Russell also scored for Kemptville. More assists for Kemptville came via Brandon Cole, who had two and Quinn Wichers and Matt Tugnutt, who contributed one each.

The Lasers were helped by Jacob Balca, who finished with one goal. Balca scored 13:14 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Guisten Annetta provided the assist. Kanata also got a goal from Yannick Martel as well. In addition, Kanata received assists from Ty Power, Dean Hewines, and Louis-Charles Croteau, who each chipped in one.

Charlie Jensen rejected 17 shots on goal for Kemptville. The 73s incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Evan Moyse made 34 saves for Kanata on 37 shots. The Lasers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
