Henry Johnson recorded a shutout against the Kemptville 73s as the Brockville Braves picked up a 2-0 win.

Brockville was paced by Tre Folkes, who had one goal. Folkes scored short handed 6:51 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Brockville. An interference call on Andrew Jarvis put the Braves on the penalty kill. Vincenzo Renda picked up the assist.

Brockville stifled Kemptville's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Braves' defense was surprisingly good. Brockville averages 2.6 goals allowed per game. The 73s were unable to stop the Braves from sending pucks towards the net, and Brockville eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.

Brockville also got a goal from Neil Robinson as well. In addition, Brockville received assists from Jack Billings and Eric Faith, who contributed one each.

Kemptville excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The 73s did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Kemptville averages 3.2 goals per game.

Henry Johnson made 27 saves for the Braves on 27 shots. Brockville ended with 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major. For the Braves, Ryan Markovic was ejected from the game. Nicholas Hodgins recorded 32 saves for the 73s. Kemptville incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
