The Gloucester Rangers was within striking distance after one period, but the Brockville Braves put the pedal down in the second en route to a 6-1 victory. Brockville got the win thanks to a great game by Neil Robinson, who had two goals and three assists. Robinson scored the first of his two goals at 3:34 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Brockville. Robinson's next tally made the score 5-0 Brockville with 4:40 left in the second period. Thomas Dunleavy picked up the assist. The Braves' offense rang up 38 shots on Gloucester's net. Brockville surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, the Braves average 3.0 goals per contest. Brockville additionally got points from Dunleavy, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Ian Johnston, who also registered one goal and two assists, and Cameron Crotty, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Tre Folkes also scored for Brockville. Michael Cerasuolo recorded 20 saves for Brockville. The Braves avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of zero power plays. Doug Johnston rejected 32 shots on goal for the Rangers. Gloucester ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play.
