The game between the Brockville Braves and the Carleton Place Canadians was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Brockville emerged with a 5-4 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Ian Johnston secured the win for the Braves with a goal in the third period.

In the losing effort, Carleton Place was sparked by Connor Merkley, who racked up two goals. Merkley scored the first of his two goals at 12:38 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Nicolas Carrier picked up the assist. Merkley's next tally made the score 2-1 Carleton Place with 4:00 left in the first period. Carrier provided the assist.

In a losing effort, the Canadians were led by Merkley, who finished with two goals.

Brockville surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Braves average 2.9 goals per game.

Brockville also had goals scored by Jack Gill and Eric Faith, who each put in one.
