Gilliland nets hat trick, leads Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (mm) to 8-6 win over San Jose Jr. Sharks (mm)

Trevor Gilliland netted a hat trick to lead Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (mm) over San Jose Jr. Sharks (mm), 8-6.

Gilliland notched his first tally 1:32 into the second period. He then added goals at 9:12 into the second and at 5:05 into the third.

Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (mm) forced San Jose Jr. Sharks (mm)'s goaltenders to work all game long, firing 33 shots and forcing 25 saves. Sage Zonner made six stops and Parker Hathaway made 19. Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (mm)'s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five San Jose Jr. Sharks (mm) power plays. Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (mm)'s goal total was higher than its season average. Pittsburgh Penguins Elite (mm) averages 3.1 goals per game.
