Belle Tire (MM) tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but Thunder AAA Hockey would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-1.

A goal by JORDAN COOPER put Thunder AAA Hockey up 3-0 in the third period, but Belle Tire (MM) pulled to within two on Chris Lutz's tally 16:53 into the third period.

Thunder AAA Hockey pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 14 penalty minutes.

Thunder AAA Hockey put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Belle Tire (MM) to score on any of its seven power plays.

Thunder AAA Hockey was helped by ERIC HIRSCHHAUT, who racked up one goal. HIRSCHHAUT scored 4:52 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Thunder AAA Hockey. SCOTT AARON assisted on the tally. Thunder AAA Hockey also got a goal from JAKE FRIEDMAN as well. In addition, Thunder AAA Hockey received assists from ZEKE ZEIER, who had one.

Belle Tire (MM) excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances.
