Dragon HC climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat Bears, 5-4.

Dragon HC let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. Dragon HC took a 3-2 advantage on a goal by Wayne Chow at 16:26 in the first period. Dragon HC found itself down 2-0 after Bears' Sean Simkus put the puck home on the power play at 9:31 in the first period. After knotting things up at 4-4 on a goal by Di Horozian at 11:54 in the second, Dragon HC got the game-winner from Tj Chase at 17:28 in the second period.

The win gave Dragon HC a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Dragon HC also got a goal from Jared Zanette as well. More assists for Dragon HC came via Stephen Tetreau and Aaron Yeung, who each chipped in two.

In addition, Bears received assists from Kirk Smith, who had one.

Edward Yee made 18 saves for Dragon HC on 22 shots. Dragon HC incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Maximilien Sturley rejected 22 shots on goal for Bears. Bears incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
