The Aurora Tigers tried to dig themselves out of a three-goal hole, but the Oakville Blades held on for a 3-2 victory.

A goal by Tyler Rollo put Oakville up 3-0 in the third period, but Aurora pulled to within one on Daniel Mantenuto's tally 17:39 into the third period.

The Blades were led by Jackson Bales, who finished with one goal. Bales scored 18:17 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Oakville. Patrick Kudla assisted on the tally.

Brendan Doherty also scored for Oakville. In addition, Oakville received assists from Ryan Foss, Evan Brown, Matthew Kellenberger, and Josh Kosack, who each chipped in one.

The Tigers forced Oakville goalie Brendan McGlynn to work between the pipes, taking 50 shots.

More assists for Aurora came via JD Falconer, Darren Iwai, Liam Ham, and Liam Neuman, who contributed one each.

The Blades' McGlynn stopped 48 shots out of the 50 that he faced. Oakville incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Joshua Boyko rejected 23 shots on goal for Aurora. The Tigers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
