Huge game by Fargey boosts Trenton over Lindsay, 6-2

Behind a great game by Hunter Fargey, who had one goal and four assists, the Trenton Golden Hawks defeated the Lindsay Muskies, 6-2.

Fargey scored 17:53 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Trenton. Danny Hanlon provided the assist. Fargey dished an assist on Josh Allan's goal that made the score 1-0 Trenton at 6:44 into the first period. He then added assists on Mitch Emerson's goal at 7:31 into the second, on Hanlon's goal at 12:37 into the second, and on Kevin Lavoie's goal at 17:18 into the third.

Trenton managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Golden Hawks ended up below its season average of 13.0 penalty minutes per game. Trenton's offense rang up 46 shots on Lindsay's net. The Golden Hawks bested their season scoring average. This season, Trenton averages 3.6 goals per contest. The defensemen of the Golden Hawks were also effective in the Muskies' zone, and came away with two goals.

Trenton also got points from Emerson, who also tallied one goal and two assists and Hanlon, who also registered one goal and two assists. Quinn Lenihan also scored for Trenton. More assists for Trenton came via Chays Ruddy, Blayne Oliver, and Lucas Brown, who each chipped in one.

Lindsay was led by Nick Isaacson, who finished with one goal and one assist. Isaacson scored 17:44 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Cameron Robinson picked up the assist. Lindsay also got a goal from Cedric Ralph as well. In addition, Lindsay received assists from Josh Wainman and James Allen, who contributed one each.

Daniel Urbani rejected 17 shots on goal for Trenton. The Golden Hawks registered one goal on three power play opportunities. Sean Green made 40 saves for the Muskies on 46 shots. Lindsay incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
