Owen Ramsay racked up one point to lead the Newmarket Hurricanes to a 5-1 victory over the Pickering Panthers. Newmarket also got points from Max Routledge, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Mark Rozanov also scored for Newmarket. Other players who recorded assists for Newmarket were Ryan Young, who had three and Alex Ierullo, Christian Dedonato, Marco Bozzo, Christian Cella, Blake Coffey, and Marty Lawlor, who each chipped in one. Pickering's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Newmarket power plays. The Panthers were led by Tiger McDonald, who scored the team's only goal.
