Mark Rozanov had four goals and one assist to lead the Newmarket Hurricanes to a 7-3 victory over the Pickering Panthers.

Newmarket's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Pickering power plays. The Hurricanes forced Pickering goalie Troy Paquette to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots. Newmarket surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, the Hurricanes average 3.0 goals per contest.

Newmarket additionally got points from Todd Winder, who also racked up one goal and three assists. Others who scored for Newmarket included Nick Kalpousos and Christian Cella, who each put in one.
