Behind a great game by Noah Delmas, who had one goal and two assists, the Aurora Tigers defeated the Trenton Golden Hawks, 7-4. Delmas scored on the power play 10:31 into the third period to make the score 6-4 Aurora. Aurora had gotten the advantage when Trenton's Brandon Marinelli was sent off for tripping. Daniel Mantenuto picked up the assist. Delmas dished an assist on Mantenuto's goal that made the score 4-2 Aurora at 14:49 into the second period. He added another helper on Alex Formenton's goal that made the score 5-2 Aurora at 1:13 into the third period.The Tigers bested their season scoring average. This season, Aurora averages 3.4 goals per contest. The Tigers got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Aurora additionally got points from Kyle Locke, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Mantenuto, who also had two goals and one assist, and Formenton, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Aurora included Nolan Dunn and Austin Gerhart, who scored one goal each. The Golden Hawks were helped by Mac Lewis, who racked up one goal. Lewis scored 4:17 into the third period to make the score 5-3 Aurora. Jordan Chard assisted on the tally. Trenton also got points from Kevin Lavoie, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Trenton also had goals scored by Liam Morgan and Josh Allan, who each put in one.
