Dynes stymies Stouffville, Lindsay wins 4-1

The Lindsay Muskies relied on the sparkling performance of Graham Dynes in net to grab a 4-1 win against the Stouffville Spirit.

Lindsay was sparked by Cameron Robinson, who racked up one goal. Robinson scored 8:04 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Lindsay. Josh Wainman provided the assist.

The Muskies' offense rang up 38 shots on Stouffville's net.

Lindsay also got points from Brock Traill, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Lindsay also had goals scored by Owen Barnett and Cedric Ralph, who scored one goal each. More assists for Lindsay came via James Allen, who had two and Kristopher Diclemente and Christian Lea, who contributed one each.

The Spirit did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Stouffville puts an average of 3.3 pucks into the net per game. The Spirit kept Lindsay's goalie busy throughout the game, and Dynes made 36 saves on 37 shots. Stouffville could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 44 minutes in penalties during the game.

The Spirit were led by Stefan Palatsidis, who scored the team's only goal. Palatsidis scored 14:23 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Connor Evans picked up the assist.

The Muskies incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Conor McCollum made 34 saves for Stouffville on 38 shots. The Spirit registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
