The North York Rangers gutted out a close 5-3 win against the Aurora Tigers.

North York gained the winning advantage on a goal by Ryan Hunt 6:44 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Kyle Clarke had a great game for the Rangers, netting two goals. Clarke's tallies came at 1:42 into the second period to make the score 1-0 North York and 18:45 into the third to make the score 5-3 North York.

North York forced Tigers' netminders to work between the pipes, launching 33 shots and forcing 28 saves. Alex Fotinos made 19 stops and Joshua Boyko made nine.

North York additionally got points from Joshua Dame, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Keegan Blasby also scored for North York.
