Oakville got the win on the strength of a great game by Ryan Garvey, who had one goal and two assists. Garvey scored 6:26 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Oakville. Jackson Bales picked up the assist.

The Blades forced St. Michaels' netminders to work between the pipes, racking up 40 shots and forcing 35 saves. Jacob McGrath made 34 stops and Mark Manolescu made one. Oakville put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Buzzers to score on any of their three power plays.

More assists for Oakville came via Patrick Kudla, Ryan Foss, Oliver Benwell, Brayden Sampson, and Drew Worrad, who contributed one each.

St. Michaels puts an average of 3.3 pucks into the net per game. The Blades were unable to stop the Buzzers from sending pucks towards the net, and St. Michaels eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.

The Buzzers were led by Cameron Searles, who scored the team's only goal. Searles scored 14:53 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Oakville. Colton Trumbla assisted on the tally.
