Toronto Patriots made the score 5-3 on a goal by Daniel Barnes at 1:41 in the third period, and Orangeville got as close as 5-4 when Zack Lyons scored 16:28 into the third period.

The Patriots were sparked by Barnes, who tallied one goal.

Toronto Patriots forced Flyers' goalies to work without much rest, racking up 37 shots and forcing 32 saves. Jacob Ingham made 21 stops and Kasimir Krol made 11. The Patriots stifled the Flyers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Toronto Patriots' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.
