In addition, Buffalo received assists from Aaron Reinig, who had two.

Toronto Patriots' offense rang up 34 shots on Buffalo's net. The Patriots could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 54 minutes in penalties during the game.

Toronto Patriots was led by Michael Siddall, who scored the team's only goal. Siddall scored on the power play 3:39 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Toronto Patriots. The Patriots had gotten the advantage when the Jr. Sabres' Bryce Ferrell was sent off for checking from behind. Nicholas Ursitti provided the assist.

Brian Kowalski made 33 saves for Buffalo on 34 shots. The Jr. Sabres incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
