The Georgetown Raiders and the Wellington Dukes skate to 3-3 (OT) tie

Even though Georgetown's Brendan Jacome netted two goals and Jack Jacome ccontributed one point, the Raiders was held to a tie by Wellington,.

Georgetown excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Dukes were unable to stop the Raiders from sending pucks towards the net, and Georgetown eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

In addition, Georgetown received assists from Arran MacDonald, Bailey Molella, Josh Dickinson, Matthew Cairns, and Andrew Court, who contributed one each.

Wellington's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Georgetown power plays. The Dukes forced the Raiders goalie Andrew Masters to work between the pipes, taking 51 shots. Wellington could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 34 minutes in penalties during the game.

The Dukes were helped by Ben Sokay, who finished with one goal. Sokay scored 11:06 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Luc Brown picked up the assist. Wellington also got points from Brown, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Wellington also got a goal from Nicolas Mucci as well. Other players who recorded assists for Wellington were Dylan Mascarin, who had two and Chase St Aubin and Tyler Burnie, who each chipped in one.

Georgetown's Masters stopped 48 shots out of the 51 that he faced. The Raiders incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Olivier Lafreniere made 33 saves for Wellington on 36 shots.
